Harry Shum Jr. & Katie Findlay Will Star in a Drama Inspired by a John Mayer Song!

Harry Shum Jr. and Katie Findlay are teaming up for a new drama – and it’s inspired by John Mayer!

The 36-year-old Crazy Rich Asians star and the 28-year-old How To Get Away With Murder star will team up in Heart of Life, an ABC pilot inspired by the song of the same name by the 41-year-old musician.

The pilot “follows two sets of adult siblings from wildly different worlds who discover they are related and must reassess everything they thought they knew about their shared father. As they explore the mysteries of their separate childhoods, they’ll experience the difficulty in overcoming the sins of the past and learn the joys of reuniting with long-lost family,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The two stars will play siblings Brendan and Sydney Winter.

John will also be co-executive producing the show.
