Rose McGowan Says Growing Up in America Was 'Traumatizing'

Rose McGowan is feeling “Brave” while stopping by The Calum McSwiggan Show!

The 45-year-old activist visited Fubar Radio on Wednesday (March 6) in London, England.

She was there to promote her new paperback “Brave.”

“Never doubt your power or your worth,” she wrote on Instagram the next day. “Today is #InternationalWomensDay and we should all celebrate brave women around us and strive to be brave with them today and everyday. #RoseArmy #BRAVE #iwd2019.”

During her appearance, Rose shared, “I’ve found America absolutely harrowing. America was a lot more traumatizing to me actually. I found America much, much more hardcore than the [Children of God] cult.”

“In one state I lived in, I had things thrown at me every day,” she continued, adding that people told her, “You’re the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.”
