Either Jared doesn’t know or doesn’t care who Thomas Houseago is…

  • Patty Smyth

LOL…and while they’re taking another look at Jared Kushner’s admittance into Harvard they need to look at the Orange Asshole’s father buying his admittance into college…

He did mention Thomas in the last thread but maybe he doesn’t know what he looks like?

This happens so frequently, especially with private schools, that I’m 100% certain the NCAA has just ignored it because too many Ivy League and public universities with top sports programs (read: football and basketball!) are involved. If they start shaking this particular tree it’s gonna get even uglier than it already is. Schools are desperate for money these days, so yeah, private schools take “donations” from rich people to let their kids in. Public universities are forever soliciting “donations” from alumni. Who knows what they’re doing under the table for that money.

  • Beedyq

Of course that is how this slimy lizard has glided through his golden privileged life. I remember reading stores of his nasty behavior at the NY Observer after he bought it.

  • Beedyq

Might be a travelling uniform as well or not…LOL

    Congrats!

I think she is, mentioned that below.

I remember reading how Trumps attorney, I think, sent threatening letters to his schools telling them not to release his academic records.

On professor said Trump was the “dumbest goddamn student I ever had.” 🤣

  • Beedyq

Came to this thread first this morning.

Think that it is interesting that Brad visited a school on 3/6, auditing classes and mentioning by name which child would be interested in certain classes the day after they met with Dr. Katz on 3/5.

Remember reading somewhere years ago that when they had the 3 older kids in school in LA for a short time that Brad was the one who talked to the school about how to erect effective pap repel fencing around the school.

Short excerpt re Plan B from a condescending article…

Can Megan Ellison Reverse Course on Annapurna’s Financial Troubles?
    ===========================================
Development is also still active at the company. As part of its production pact with Brad Pitt’s Plan B, Annapurna has optioned the rights to the soapy noir novel “The Silent Patient.” Naegle will develop the book into a feature film with Plan B producers Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner.

The movie follows a famous London artist who inexplicably shoots her fashion-photographer husband five times, then falls mute. It’s a far cry from arty collaborations like “Beale Street” and “Vice.”

“Sounds like it’ll make some money,” said one top film sales agent.

Right, I remember this LOL. The professor has passed away but a close acquaintance went on Lawrence O’Donnell and said that the professor had told people that and I bust out laughing.

  • Beck

How do we know he visited a school/class? I missed most of the past thread (traveling).

From a tweet posted….a teenager said Brad visited his school.

Regarding this college admissions scandal with Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin, I was thinking how horrible this really is for their kids. If the kids were in the know (as I’m thinking Lori Loughlin’s were since they were admitted as crew recruits when they don’t even row crew (!) so how were they going to pull that off if they weren’t told?) then you’ve taught your kids it’s okay to lie/cheat to get what you want. And if Felicity Huffman arranged for that SAT proctor to change her daughter’s SAT test answers without her knowing, then how would it feel to know that your mother was not confident in you to take that test on your own? It would really piss me off! But if they were in on it, then again you’ve made lying/cheating acceptable for your kids. Just really horrible parenting all around.

Now, I wonder if their kids are going to be expelled from their respective colleges since they lied/cheated to get admitted? It seems they should be. I can only imagine the abuse they’re getting from their fellow students…and I hate to say it, they deserve it since they’ve prevented a student who was more qualified from getting admitted.

Just my ramblings…this has really been bugging me…😃

  • Patty Smyth

I so want JK taken down. His family was in serious debt and then he met with MBS/Saudis (with no other US rep in attendance) and now the family is no longer in debt??? They really need to look closely at his finances to see where that money came from.

  • Patty Smyth

Thanks, JPlove. I can’t get over how Vivi is just a female Brad…she looks so much like him.

  • GroundControl500

There was also a discussion of Brad’s visit to Oakwood on a school employee’s social media account. That’s where the more extensive info about Brad’s activities and comments came from.

Thanks, GC. I guess I totally missed this conversation. 😏

Loughlin’s daughter is only there because she was part of the team. She received a non financial scholarship. If she was never on the team then she should not be able to be in that college. They take away football player’s scholarship all the time except in cases where injury is the reason for not being on the team.
In regards to Hoffman’s daughter I hope the college investigates what the daughter knew what her parents were doing. If she knew then I’m sure there is some anti cheating oath that was signed at the time she entered college that can be used to push her out. But if she didn’t know and is doing reasonable well in college then I think she should be allowed to stay. Although I don’t know why she would want to stay.

  • plez

Vivi is still not that comfortable in front of the cameras as Knox is.

I read something today where a Trumpist was making fun of the professor’s assessment of Trump because Trump had built an empire. What they don’t seem to know is that Trump didn’t start this empire, his father did. Almost every new venture Trump started has failed. Who can forget Trump Airlines, Trump Steaks, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Travel Agency, Trump Magazine, Trump the Game and Trump casinos.

Trump made the most of selling his name to slap on buildings that he doesn’t own. He has 7 building, including hotels and offices which have been successful. He’s basically spent the time since his father died defrauding people, borrowing money from anyone who would give him a loan and dealing in shady business practices with shady people, all to keep from going under. Even with that, I think he’s declared bankruptcy at least 4 times. Jared Kusuhner is no better businessman than Trump.

A report last year from CNBC said that Trump’s net worth went down over a billion dollars since he began running from president, putting his worth at 3.1 billion. He’s so jealous of Bezos wealth lol.

  • plez

Yes Trump’s high school records were taken off school grounds and placed in a hidden place.
Of course daddy’s money got Trump into college.

  • Patty Smyth

You are right, plez. I just saw where USC officials stated if the kids knew they were admitted due to bribes, they will be expelled. If they didn’t know, were kept in the dark, they will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis on whether they will be allowed to stay.

  • Patty Smyth

    Brad looks good.

I wonder who that older gentleman is with Brad….maybe the head of the museum? He’s very stylish. 😃

  • Beedyq

François Pinault. Passionate about art for many years, Brad Pitt was able to share his passion with the businessman, who in addition to being the founder of the Kering Group and also an influential collector of modern and contemporary art

  • plez

Recognize the last name so had to look him up. He’s Salma Hayek father in law.

  • Beedyq

    Thanks.

  • Beedyq

    Good.

A fair process for both the student and the school.

    From MATCH…
This Wednesday, Brad Pitt was spotted with Thomas Houseago at the exit of the historic site of the Glass House of the architect Pierre Chareau in Paris.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maison_de_Verre

The Maison de Verre (French for House of Glass) was built from 1928 to 1932 in Paris, France. Constructed in the early modern style of architecture, the house’s design emphasized three primary traits: honesty of materials, variable transparency of forms, and juxtaposition of “industrial” materials and fixtures with a more traditional style of home décor. The primary materials used were steel, glass, and glass block. Some of the notable “industrial” elements included rubberized floor tiles, bare steel beams, perforated metal sheet, heavy industrial light fixtures, and mechanical fixtures.

The design was a collaboration among Pierre Chareau (a furniture and interiors designer), Bernard Bijvoet (a Dutch architect working in Paris since 1927) and Louis Dalbet (craftsman metalworker). Much of the intricate moving scenery of the house was designed on site as the project developed. The external form is defined by translucent glass block walls, with select areas of clear glazing for transparency. Internally, spatial division is variable by the use of sliding, folding or rotating screens in glass, sheet or perforated metal, or in combination. Other mechanical components included an overhead trolley from the kitchen to dining room, a retracting stair from the private sitting room to Mme Dalsace’s bedroom and complex bathroom cupboards and fittings.

The program of the home was somewhat unusual in that it included a ground-floor medical suite for Dr. Jean Dalsace. This variable circulation pattern was provided for by a rotating screen which hid the private stairs from patients during the day, but framed the stairs at night.

The house is notable for its splendid architecture, but it may be more well known for another reason. It was built on the site of a much older building which the patron had purchased and intended to demolish. Much to his or her chagrin, however, the elderly tenant on the top floor of the building absolutely refused to sell, and so the patron was obliged to completely demolish the bottom three floors of the building and construct the Maison de Verre underneath, all without disturbing the original top floor.

“American architectural historian Robert Rubin bought the house from Dalsace family in 2006 to restore it and use it for his family residence. He allows a limited number of tours to the house.”

So Manafort got a total of 73 months…minus time served. Still far too light a sentence and would have been much worse if he was black. The good news though is that NY state is coming for his neck and unsealed their own indictments today. So when he’s done serving his federal time he’ll probably move right over to state prison to start saving state time.

  • Felinelilly

Great to see Brad indulging in his passion for art. He’s in the right city for that. lol

  • Felinelilly

Pretty cool to see François Pinault showing him around. I wonder if they discussed business, as well as their shared love of art.

  • Patty Smyth

Thanks Beedyq. I think when that person posted the pic on his IG acct of him, Brad, and Thomas he said they went out to dinner. So i think the pics of them leaving the museum are maybe them heading out to dinner.
