Lori Loughlin & Felicity Huffman Sued for $500 Billion by Outraged Mother Over College Admissions Scam

Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are being sued for $500 billion.

The actresses, who were arrested for being part of an alleged nationwide college admissions cheating scandal, are being sued by a California mother who claims that the scam prevented her son from getting into college, according to documents obtained by Deadline (March 14) on Thursday.

Jennifer Kay Toy filed the class-action suit in San Francisco County Superior Court on March 13, accusing them of inflicting emotional distress, civil conspiracy and fraud.

“I’m now aware of the massive cheating scandal wherein wealthy people conspired with people in positions of power and authority at colleges in order to allow their chjldren [sic] to gain access to the very coHeges [sic] that Joshua was rejected from,” she wrote in the lawsuit.

“I’m [out]raged and hurt because I feel that my son, my only child, was denied access to a college not because he failed to work and study hard enough but because wealthy individuals felt… it was ok to lie, cheat, steal and bribe their children’s way into a good college.”

The lawsuit estimates that “due to the length and breadth of the cheating scam,” more than one million people were affected.

They don’t even have that money. That woman suing is much of a scum as the people involved here.

For sure they dont have the money, but they all should pay for what they did. So, yes to sue them, but no the amount of the money. Could get sued for 250 milion, those rich people for sure have it. But what are money when they all are mindless, stupid people who thought, they can get everywhere with money.

  • Silly People

$500 billion? Lol Get a grip lady.

  • plez

Why didn’t she sue others who are involved and not just the two actresses?

  • Casey C

We sure he didn’t get denied simply because his grades / scores were not as good as other non-celebrities? Chill out, lady.

I’m sure they can prove their case in court that their children were good enough. Otherwise what would be the point? I think they are suing the wrong subject. I think a class action against the colleges involved would have a better chance since they accepted money. Then again, I have no idea what is going on about this right now lol. I have to see what is going on further I guess.

When will people understand that having certain grades or credentials does not entitle you to a spot in a specific college? They have a limited amount of space and there are a lot of factors that have to be weighed to make sure it is balanced, that there are enough people enrolled in specific majors, gender, race, etc.

  • cutitout

They paid for the education so the Colleges are not out any money, doubt any of them qualified for financial aid.

  • cutitout

Have any idea how many people have all the grades and requirements on paper you need to get into a specific college and still do not get in? They only have a limited number of spots, hence wait-lists. Doubt the reason her son did not get in was because of theses specific families. She is clout chasing.

LMAO. 500 BIILION!? In what world lady?? Take a chill pill dumbass…

  • dee

apparently he had a 4.2 gpa….but it doesnt mean shit.

They paid the bribes but was it confirmed that none involved received any educational money of any kind, athletic perhaps?
They still took limited spots available regardless.

They are suing those who not only have money but are charged and will get the most publicity for the case. No one usually receives the amount they initially sue for so it’s common to ask for very big and then settle for a decent amount. Some working at the schools were complacent but not the entire schools’ staffs.
The lawsuit is likely about all those denied against all those who benefited from it.
