Kathy Griffin Says Her Own Driver Threatened to Harm Her

Kathy Griffin revealed that she is still getting death threats because of the infamous photo she took holding a Donald Trump mask dripping with what appeared to be fake blood.

While the comedian is back to work and making millions of dollars on tour around the world, she still isn’t getting TV jobs.

“I don’t have a single day of paid work on television ahead of me for the rest of my life,” she said in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

Kathy also said that one of the threats she received recently came from a surprising person.

“I was in London a month ago and I had a driver who took myself and my assistant from London Heathrow to the hotel, and he recognized me from the photo and he said that he was from Morocco and that if we were in Morocco he would cut my tongue off,” she said. With a laugh she added, “So, that was a long drive!”

Kathy says she “called the president of the company and had him fired.”
