Kylie Jenner Admits She 'Can't Say' She's a Self-Made Billionaire

Kylie Jenner is clarifying her “self-made” billionaire title.

After Forbes named the 21-year-old makeup mogul the “youngest self-made” billionaire in the world, Kylie faced a lot of backlash criticizing the title that she had a lot of help from her family and their connections.

During a recent interview with New York Times, Kylie admitted that she “can’t say” she became a billionaire all on her own.

“I can’t say I’ve done it by myself,” Kylie shared. “If they’re just talking finances, technically, yes, I don’t have any inherited money. But I have had a lot of help and a huge platform.”

Kylie got her start as a preteen starring on Keeping Up with the Kardashians before launching her ultra-successful Kylie Cosmetics makeup business.

“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Kylie continued. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
