Issa Rae Reveals Some Of Her Family Had To Stop Watching 'Insecure'
Issa Rae made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (April 2) and dished about interacting with fans of Insecure and talks about what her family thinks of the show.
“My mom stopped and my older brother stopped because it’s an adult show, it’s on HBO and they engage in adult acts,” the 34-year-old actress revealed.
“They kind of had enough, my mom was like, ‘I can’t watch this anymore’, but then she caught up later in secret. My brother said, ‘I can’t watch you do this’,” Issa continued. “I don’t blame them, I don’t want them to watch me engage in adult acts.”
Issa also talked about working with the youngest executive producer in Hollywood history, her co-star Marsai Martin, in their new movie Little.
