Kumail Nanjiani In Talks to Star in Marvel's 'The Eternals' With Angelina Jolie

Kumail Nanjiani is in talks to join the cast of Marvel’s The Eternals, according to THR!

The 41-year-old Oscar nominee would be joining Angelina Jolie in the flick based on the 1976 comic book series.

The series follows “super-powered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals and a more monstrous off-shoot known as the Deviants that were created by the cosmic beings called Celestials.”

While Angelina is understood to be playing the character named Sersi, Kumail‘s character is unknown at this time.

Marvel had no comment on the casting.
