Watch Rachel Zegler in Her High School's 'Shrek' Production!

Rachel Zegler is on her way to super-stardom with her role as Maria in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical West Side Story.

Before the movie begins filming, the 17-year-old actress is finishing out her senior year in high school and she just starred in her school musical!

Rachel played the role of Fiona in Shrek, originated on Broadway by Sutton Foster. A video was shared online by LoHud reporter Peter Kramer showing Rachel belting out the song “I Know It’s Today” and you can watch it here.

After the show on Thursday night (April 11), Rachel took to Instagram Stories and wrote, “From freshman year to senior year, it’s been a fun ride… I’ll miss you, IC.”
