Blackpink Slays with Coachella Debut - See All the Photos!
The girls of Blackpink hit the stage for their highly anticipated debut performance at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival on Friday night (April 12) in Indio, Calif.
The girl group became the first K-Pop artists to ever perform at the music festival!
Before the set, the Blackpink stars stopped by the YouTube Music Artist Lounge. Their east coast fans were treated to something special when their set was live streamed in New York City’s iconic Times Square.
Blackpink performed 13 songs during their 50-minute set at the Sahara tent, including three songs from the new Kill This Love EP.
“I have a few words to say,” Rosé said near the end of the set (via Variety). “Us coming all the way from South Korea, we didn’t know what to expect, and obviously we — you guys and us — we’re from totally different worlds. But tonight I think we’ve learned so deeply that music brings us as one. So I want to thank you guys tonight for sticking by to the end of the show.”
