Amal Clooney and George Clooney wrap up a meeting at Columbia Law School!

The 57-year-old Catch‑22 actor and the 41-year-old international law and human rights lawyer – both looking dressed to impress – were spotted finishing up a long day of business on Thusday (April 25) in New York City.

They were joined by her mom Baria.

That same day, it was announced that Amal and George, through The Clooney Foundation for Justice, have partnered with Microsoft on an app called TrialWatch, aimed at improving criminal justice around the world.

It assists “trained volunteers to collect and report data on trial proceedings,” GeekWire reports. “The goal is to identify courtroom trends and track cases that involve vulnerable populations, like minorities, LGBTQ individuals, human rights activists, and journalists.”

“Courts around the world are increasingly being used to silence dissidents and target the vulnerable,” Amal said in a statement. “But so far there has been no systematic response to this. The Clooney Foundation for Justice’s TrialWatch program is a global initiative to monitor trials, expose abuses, and advocate for victims, so that injustice can be addressed, one case at a time.”
