KJ Apa Reveals How 'Riverdale' Might Approach Luke Perry's Death on the Show

KJ Apa is speaking out about how Riverdale may address the tragic death of Luke Perry, who played the role of Fred Andrews (Archie’s dad) on the show.

“We’re definitely gonna obviously have to address it at some point,” KJ told ET.

He continued, “[It could mean] Molly [Ringwald] stepping in as more of an active parent for Archie, but that all depends on the availability of the actors around us. So, you know, we’ll do what we can.”

If you don’t know, Molly plays Mary Andrews, Archie’s mom, on the show.

Luke passed away in March at the young age of 52 after suffering from a stroke.
