Halle Berry Reveals the Sandra Bullock Role She Turned Down

Halle Berry is opening up about the big movie role she turned down, which helped make Sandra Bullock a star.

The Oscar-winning actress just revealed in a new interview that she turned down the lead role in Speed!

“I don’t know if you know this, but I was offered Speed before Sandra Bullock,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I stupidly said no. But in my defense, when I read the script the bus didn’t leave the parking lot.”

The movie went on to star Sandra and Keanu Reeves, who Halle just worked with on John Wick 3.

“I was like no, no, no, no. Then I see the movie and I’m like, arrrrghh,” Halle continued, adding that she has no regrets. “I was in it well before these fine people,” she said pointing to Reeves. “They were offering me the parking lot version.”
