Shawn Mendes Just Started Watching 'Game of Thrones' THIS Season

Shawn Mendes revealed he hasn’t watched a single episode of Game of Thrones until the current season.

The 20-year-old singer made the revelation while promoting his new single “If I Can’t Have You” on Sirius XM Hits 1 on Friday morning (May 3).

“Everyone is really going to be unhappy with me for this, but I haven’t watched a single episode of Game of Thrones until the last season,” he said. “I started on the last season. So I’ve watched the last three episodes with no backstory.”

Shawn is set to perform his new song on Saturday Night Live this weekend, where Adam Sandler is hosting, and he opened up about wanting to get a photo with the actor.

“I met Adam Sandler a few times, and he’s been really, really, really nice to me, so it should be fun,” he dished. “I got starstruck by him. I didn’t get a photo with him. I still haven’t got a photo. We’re going to be on TV together so I’m just going to screenshot the television.”
