Maya Rudolph & Jimmy Fallon Improvise Their Own Bands In Hilarious 'Tonight Show' Game - Watch Here!
Maya Rudolph stopped by The Tonight Show on Wednesday (May 8) and played a brand new improv game with Jimmy Fallon called, “Build a Band“!
Jimmy and Maya were challenged to think of band names and improvise hit songs on the spot in random musical styles based on the first words they think of.
The duo started things off by slipping into character as their totally made-up band, Cocoa Leather, to sing their Pet Shop Boys-style hit “Tiger Conch.” Next, their Latin band Salsa Pong performed an absurd song called “Get Drifter.”
“That’s basically what we did in your office for six years,” Maya said of the time they shared together on Saturday Night Live.
Maya also shared a touching story about seeing Beyoncé live with her 9-year-old daughter, Lucille, at Coachella last year. “I saw Beychella… I saw it both weekends,” she said. “It was the craziest thing… it changed my life.”
