Game of Thrones' Pilou Asbaek Used to Be Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's Manny!

Here’s a cool tidbit about Game of Thrones stars Pilou Asbaek and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau that you might not know… they’ve known each other for 20 years!

Pilou used to work at a school where Nikolaj‘s kids were attending kindergarten and he was a manny for the little ones.

“We’re actually good friends because we both come from Denmark and — he will hate me saying this, but it’s true — I was the manny for his kids before I became an actor in 2003,” Pilou told EW. “I was like 19, 20 years old. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I thought I wanted to be a teacher because I love kids. I was like a substitute teacher at a kindergarten and his kids were there and I was a manny for them.”

“We’ve done some work together in Denmark. He’s been working very, very hard to get where he is now. All the success he’s having now is so deserved,” Pilou told THR about Nikolaj.
