Olivia Jade's High School Counselor Will Be Called as Witness After Incident With Dad Mossimo Giannulli (Report)

Olivia Jade‘s high school counselor will be summoned as a witness in the college admissions case against her parents, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli.

According to the Department of Justice, the Marymount High School staff member was involved in an altercation with the social media star’s dad after he questioned her reported rowing credentials, Too Fab reports.

Mossimo and Lori are accused of paying scam ring leader Rick Singer $500,000 to get their daughters accepted into the University of Southern California by posing as athletes.

The counselor reportedly learned from admissions staff members at USC that Olivia‘s sister Isabella had applied as a member of the rowing team – but Marymount didn’t have any such team.

Rick, also a witness in the case, told the Justice Department that the counselor “did not believe that either of the Giannulli daughters participated in crew, and was concerned that their applications may have contained misleading information.”

After the counselor questioned Olivia about Isabella‘s involvement on the team in 2017, Mossimo was not happy, according to the complaint. The counselor reportedly sent an email to Mossimo on April 12, 2018, talking about an in-person “encounter” between the duo.

“I wanted to provide you with an update on the status of [your younger daughter's] admission offer to USC,” the email states. “First and foremost, they have no intention of rescinding [her] admission and were surprised to hear that was even a concern for you and your family. You can verify that with [the USC senior assistant director of admissions] . . . if you would like. … I also shared with [the USC senior assistant director of admission] that you had visited this morning and affirmed for me that [your younger daughter] is truly a coxswain.”

That same day, Donna Heinel, the former USC senior associate athletic director who was fired in connection with the admissions scandal, reportedly left Rick a voicemail about parents coming to Marymount to “yell at counselors,” saying it could “shut everything down.”

According to the DOJ complaint, Lori also wrote in an email to Rick, “[Our younger daughter] has not submitted all her colleges [sic] apps and is confused on how to do so. I want to make sure she gets those in as I don’t want to call any attention to [her] with our little friend at [her high school]. Can you tell us how to proceed?”
