I.M. Pei Dead - Designer of Lourve Pyramid & CAA Building Dies at 102

I.M. Pei has sadly died at the age of 102.

The globally renowned architect, responsible for the Lourve museum’s iconic glass pyramid and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, among many other designs, died on Thursday (May 16) according to his spokesman via The Hollywood Reporter.

He designed several famous buildings and structures all over the world, including the Bank of China skyscraper in Hong Kong, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library in Boston, Mass., and the CAA headquarters in Beverly Hills, Calif.

He also added on to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., as well as the National Center of Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado.
