Over 200,000 'Game of Thrones' Fans Signed a Petition for This Reason!

Over 200,000 fans of Game of Thrones and counting are signing a petition to redo the show’s divisive final season.

The petition, called “Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 with competent writers,” is a cry for the show’s creators to step aside.

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on. This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!” the petition reads.

Several plot points have caused outrage from some fans, especially after the fifth episode “The Bells,” in which Daenerys and her dragon Drogon burned down King’s Landing, killing lots of major characters and tons of innocent civilians. See how Emilia Clarke reacted!

The final episode of Game of Thrones airs on Sunday (May 19).

Even though both producers are heavily disliked now, if it weren’t for them – most of the current GoT fanbase wouldn’t even know of the series existence. Myself included.

I still consider this the best written series our there. I am thankful for both of them and ofc Martin himself for the handwork. Ungrateful twitter petition.

Just read the last book when he finishes it and use your imagination.

Out of the billions of people that watch this show I don’t think the producers are going to care about 200,000 casual viewers that are angry about Jon and Dany not getting married, having babies and living happily ever after.
You don’t like what happened? Read the books and try to understand the background of the characters and then read the final two books which will probably flesh out the ending a little better. Oh and maybe rewatch season 1-7 and pay attention to detail!
