'EW' Sets Neil Patrick Harris, Ruby Rose, & More for Annual LGBTQ Issue's Cover (Exclusive)

Entertainment Weekly is getting ready to launch its annual LGBTQ issue and can exclusively reveal the cover stars!

Neil Patrick Harris, Ruby Rose, Janet Mock, Anderson Cooper, Wilson Cruz, and Melissa Etheridge will be featured on the cover of the upcoming issue, on-sale on June 7.

EW has long supported the LGBTQ community through the lens of entertainment and the mag will celebrate its cover stars and mark 2019’s historic gay pride month at an invite-only event hosted by Netflix and Cadillac at New York City’s Stonewall Inn in early June.

This is an exciting time for Ruby as she is the first openly gay lead of a live-action superhero show with her recently picked-up CW series Batwoman. The trailer debuted this week and it’s going to be a great show!

Janet is a producer, writer and director for the FX series Pose – making history as the first trans woman of color to write and direct an episode of television – and the cast of the show covered last year’s LGBTQ issue.

We can’t wait to see the cover!
