Arnold Schwarzenegger Addresses Whether He'll Press Charges Against Surprise Kick Attacker

Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be pressing charges following a surprise kick-drop attack at an event in South Africa.

The 71-year-old actor and former governor confirmed that he will not be taking legal action in a tweet on Sunday (May 19).

“Update: A lot of you have asked, but I’m not pressing charges. I hope this was a wake-up call, and he gets his life on the right track. But I’m moving on and I’d rather focus on the thousands of great athletes I met at @ArnoldSports Africa,” Arnold wrote on Twitter.

If you didn’t know, a man drop-kicked Arnold by surprise at an event on Saturday (May 18). He’s fine, and asked that people not give the man any attention.

“Do me a favor: instead of sharing the video of the guy who wants to be famous, watch some of our @ArnoldSports athletes like this young hero proving that fitness is for everyone who deserve to be famous. They’re on my Snapchat,” he wrote after the attack.
