K-Pop Star Nam Tae-hyun Accused of Cheating by Girlfriend Jang Jae-In

Jang Jae-in, also known as Jang Jane, is putting her boyfriend Nam Tae-hyun, also known as Taehyun, on blast.

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter posted a now-deleted series of screenshots, allegedly between the 25-year-old former Winner boy band member and another woman on her Instagram on Friday (June 7).

“All the rumors about you were real. I know it’s not just ‘one’. Thank you for letting me speak out. Don’t let any man control you. That’s all,” she also wrote on her Instagram bio, which has since been removed.

“First of all, I apologize for stirring up trouble. I offer my deepest apologies to Jang Jae In and the person who messaged her. While it is clearly my fault, it is unfortunate that the media is publishing some things that are untrue without confirmation. I am currently sorting things out, and I will release a handwritten apology and explanation as soon as possible,” he wrote in a now-removed statement on Instagram in response to the allegations.

The two stars revealed that they were dating back in April after filming the tvN variety series, Studio Vibes. The show houses five men and five women who are all young musicians under one roof to see if relationships blossom.

The show also issued a statement regarding the ongoing drama: “We will take [the gravity of] the current situation into consideration, and we plan to minimize the appearances of the two in future episodes, so that they do not interfere with the sincere emotions and stories of the 10 youthful musicians nor cause viewers to feel uncomfortable.”

Amid reports that Nam Tae-hyun would step down from performing in the musical Mefisto due to the ongoing drama, producers on the show issued a clarification: “We are currently discussing it. Nothing has been decided.”
