Lin-Manuel Miranda Joins Cast of 'In The Heights' Movie As...

Lin-Manuel Miranda has joined the cast of the upcoming movie musical In The Heights!

The 39-year-old actor and composer wrote the musical and won the Tony Award for Best Original Score. He also starred in the Broadway production as the lead role Usnavi.

Lin announced that he will appear in the movie as Piraguero, aka the Piragua Guy!

“One last bit of casting. [Rolls piragua cart on set...] (See you on set),” Lin wrote on his Twitter account with the below graphic.

The film version of In The Heights will hit theaters on June 26, 2020. Make sure to see all the photos from set so far!
