Zendaya Urges Fans To Watch Her Instagram Video to Understand Where 'Euphoria' Comes From

Zendaya snaps a photo with writer/director Sam Levinson at a screening for their show Euphoria on Friday (June 14) in New York City.

The 22-year-old actress and the 34-year-old writer took part in a discussion of the HBO series at the screening.

Zendaya shared a video of Sam talking about the story in the show, and his struggles, which brought everyone to tears.

“There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. If you watch our show, I hope you watch this first, all the way to the end and truly understand where and who it comes from. Sam thank you for existing so Rue could exist. You’re courageous and brilliant and I’m lucky to learn from you, thank you for trusting me with your story,” she captioned the video.

She later apologized for the quality of her video.

“Via my last ig, sorry for my sh–ty camera work, I had to pass it to my mom cause I was getting to emosh,” she added on Twitter.
