Melissa Rycroft is 'Back to Normal' After Getting Sick Following Dominican Republic Trip

Melissa Rycroft is feeling much better!

The 36-year-old television personality took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon (June 22) to provide fans with an update after revealing that she got sick following a recent trip to the Dominican Republic.

“Wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers lately! I am happy to say that I am back to normal (well, as normal as I can be!) and feeling good!! I truly appreciate all the love you all sent 💕,” Melissa captioned the below photo with her kids – Cayson, 3, Beckett, 5, and Ava, 8.

Melissa recently opened up about the “severe cramping” she was experiencing after she and her husband Tye Strickland vacationed on the island with their kids.

Over the past month, several tourists have died under mysterious circumstances while visiting the Dominican Republic and now many people are coming forward saying that they experienced illness following their trip.

The CDC and the FBI are currently investigating some of the deaths.
