Henry Cavill Will Play Sherlock Holmes in 'Enola Holmes'!

Henry Cavill is taking on an iconic role!

The 36-year-old Mission: Impossible – Fallout actor will play Sherlock Holmes in the film adaptation of Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, according to Deadline on Thursday (June 27).

Millie Bobby Brown will play the titular character, while Helena Bonham Carter will play Enola’s mother.

The book series revolves around mysteries investigated by Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ much younger sister, Enola, who proves to be a highly capable detective in her own right.

Harry Bradbeer will direct the film from a screenplay by Wonder writer Jack Thorne.
