Sam Claflin Joins Henry Cavill in 'Enola Holmes' Film

Sam Claflin is on board for the upcoming movie Enola Holmes!

The 33-year-old Adrift actor will star in the film adaptation of Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, Variety reports.

The six-book series, which started with “The Case of the Missing Marquess” in 2006, focuses on “Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ much younger sister, Enola, who turns out to be a highly capable detective in her own right.”

It has previously been announced that Millie Bobby Brown will play the titular character, Helena Bonham Carter will play Enola’s mother, and Henry Cavill will play Sherlock Holmes. It is unclear who Sam Claflin will play yet.

The cast also features Fiona Shaw and Adeel Akhtar. Harry Bradbeer will direct.

Production will begin this summer after Millie wraps production on Godzilla vs. Kong. She is also producing Enola Holmes with her sister Paige Brown.

Enola Holmes is set for a 2020 release!
