Ariana Grande Says She 'Didn't Know' Fiance Pete Davidson

Ariana Grande is making a rare public comment about her relationship with ex-fiance Pete Davidson.

The 26-year-old singer talked about her ex in her new Vogue cover story. She says they met after her friends convinced her to move to New York for a summer.

“My friends were like, ‘Come! We’re gonna have a fun summer.’ And then I met Pete, and it was an amazing distraction,” Ariana said. “It was frivolous and fun and insane and highly unrealistic, and I loved him, and I didn’t know him.”

She added, “I’m like an infant when it comes to real life and this old soul, been-around-the-block-a-million-times artist. I still don’t trust myself with the life stuff.”

Ariana and Pete got engaged just weeks after they started dating in May 2018. Their relationship ended in October 2018.
