Lil Wayne Seemingly Quits Blink-182 Tour After Walking Off Stage Mid-Show

Lil Wayne walked off stage in the middle of his set during a show with Blink-182 and he has seemingly quit the tour.

The music stars launched the tour in late June and have already performed ten previous dates. The tour is scheduled to end in mid-September.

During the Virginia date on Thursday (July 12), Wayne reportedly only performed four songs before walking off stage.

“Hold on, I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd—and there’s not too many—that’s not my swag,” Wayne told the crowd after stopping the music in the middle of a song.

He added, “I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour, but make some noise for Blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night though. Let’s go.”

Wayne reportedly then called the crowd “wack” and left the stage.

So basically he didn’t feel comfortable because there weren’t any black people in the audience. I get it, but maybe he shouldn’t have gone on tour with a rock band who has a majority white fanbase. He stupidly thought that he was gonna bring in black concert goers, but he was wrong.

Um what the hell? It has nothing to do with race. Blink fans are just not interested in crappy rap music.

You’re awfully defensive. I wasn’t saying anything negative about Blink fans, I was saying that Lil Wayne was silly to join the tour thinking he’d get the same audience he was used to. It’s a different genre of music. Learn to read.
