Part of Disney's Epcot Under Rabies Alert After Infected Cat Scratches 2 Employees

A feral cat tested positive for the rabies virus after scratching two Disney World employees, putting the famed park on notice.

The Florida Department of Health in Orange County issued a 60-day rabies alert for the two mile radius near the famed Epcot center in Disney in Orlando, Fla.

Disney World spokeswoman Erica Ettori released a statement confirming that two cast members had been scratched but they did not contract the rabies virus.

“We are relieved the two Cast Members received timely treatment and are back to work,” she said to USA Today.
