'Game of Thrones' Showrunners Pull Out of Comic-Con 2019 Appearance

The showrunners for Game of Thrones are no longer attending the GOT panel at 2019 Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif.

The panel lineup released on Wednesday (July 19) revealed that David Benioff and Dan Weiss are no longer scheduled for the event, nor are director Miguel Sapochnik, Nathalie Emmanuel and Iain Glen.

However, plenty of stars from the show are still schedule to attend, including Maisie Williams, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Isaac Hempstead Wright and John Bradley.

If you didn’t know, Game of Thrones recently broke a record for most Emmy nominations in a single season. One Emmys nomination in particular had some fans confused.

The Game of Thrones Comic-Con panel is in Hall H on Friday (July 19) at 5 p.m. PT.
