Ariana DeBose & David Alvarez Film 'West Side Story's Iconic 'America' Scene

Ariana DeBose and David Alvarez are working on an iconic moment from West Side Story!

The co-stars were seen while shooting the film’s “America” scene on Friday afternoon (July 19) in New York City.

For the scene, Ariana, who is playing Anita, donned a stunning yellow dress with a red underskirt. Meanwhile, David, who is portraying Bernardo, got into character in a black polo and beige pants.

After a dramatic dance routine, the on-screen couple shared a kiss at the end of the scene.

Earlier in the month, we also got our first look at Mike Faist playing Riff while filming the “Jet Song” with his co-stars.

West Side Story will hit theaters on December 18, 2020.
