Marvel Will Include LGBTQ Characters in 'Thor 4' & 'Eternals'

Marvel is getting more inclusive.

The company’s president Kevin Feige confirmed the news in an interview with Collider backstage at 2019 Comic-Con in San Diego, Calif.

Tessa Thompson previously confirmed that her Thor: Ragnarok character Valkyrie was a member of the LGBTQ community when speaking about Thor 4 during the Marvel panel, saying that Valkyrie would be “looking for her Queen” in the sequel.

Kevin confirmed that as well – and said that there will be others, too: “Yes that’s the case, and will be the case not just with [Valkyrie] but with other characters in some of the movies we talked about today,” he said.

When asked specifically about The Eternals, he confirmed that would be the case.
