Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' Ties Record for Longest Run at #1 on Billboard Hot 100

Lil Nas X‘s song “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus is still at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and now it has tied a huge record.

The song is now tied for the longest run at number one at 16 weeks!

Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men‘s “One Sweet Day” spent 16 weeks on top of the chart in 1995-96 and Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber‘s “Despacito” spent 16 weeks at number one in 2017.

Billboard notes that it’s likely for “Old Town Road” to notch a 17th week at number one and earn the all-time record.
