Sean Hayes Will Serve as Alec Baldwin's 'Comedy Central Roast' Master

Sean Hayes has been named Roast Master for the Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin!

The 49-year-old Will & Grace actor will roast the 61-year-old Saturday Night Live star during the taping, which will occur on September 7 in Los Angeles, the network announced Monday (July 22).

“It’s always been my dream to roast a Hollywood legend, so when they asked me to roast Alec Baldwin I said ‘close enough,’” Sean Hayes said.

Alec Baldwin and Comedy Central will also contribute $1 million, matching $500,000 donations, to Exploring The Arts, a non-profit organization serving public high schools throughout New York City and Los Angeles. Its goal is to transform the lives of young people through arts education.

The Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin will air on September 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
