A$AP Rocky Released From Swedish Jail, President Donald Trump Reacts With a Joke on Twitter

A$AP Rocky has been released from jail in Sweden until his assault case verdict, which is expected to occur on August 14.

The trial on Friday (August 2) ended with prosecutors asking to sentence the 30-year-old rapper to at least a six-month jail sentence for a confrontation with 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari in June, according to Variety.

A$AP was in jail since July 3, and pled not guilty earlier in the week to assault charges.

President Donald Trump, who called for his freedom in July, reacted to the news on Twitter.

“A$AP Rocky released from prison and on his way home to the United States from Sweden. It was a Rocky Week, get home ASAP A$AP!” he wrote.
