Colton Haynes Exits 'Arrow' Ahead of Final Season
Arrow is once again saying goodbye to Colton Haynes, who will be exiting the series just ahead of its’ final season.
The 31-year-old actor has played Roy Harper, aka Arsenal/Speedy in the long running series.
Just ahead of the series starting production on the final season, Green Arrow TV reports that Colton will be leaving.
However, they remained hopeful that Colton would return in some capacity.
“We hope to have him back,” showrunner Beth Schwartz shared about Colton‘s exit.
Colton first left the show after season four, but returned at the end of season six, and was upped to a series regular in season seven.
UPDATE! Colton addressed his leaving Arrow on Twitter, saying that he was asked not to come back as a series regular. However, that doesn’t mean Roy is gone forever.
Getting a lot of angry messages so just to clarify…I didn’t exit the last season of Arrow. I was not asked to come back for the final season as a series regular. But y’all know Roy…he’s never gone for too long 🤗🤗🤗
