Even a New Ariana Grande Song Can't Stop Lil Nas X's Billboard Hot 100 Reign

Lil Nas X‘s song “Old Town Road” is at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a 19th week and not even a new song from Ariana Grande was able to stop his reign.

Ariana and Social House dropped their song “Boyfriend” last week and it debuted at number eight on the singles chart.

“Old Town Road” has extended its record as the longest running song at number one on the chart. The previous record was held by “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, featuring Justin Bieber, and “One Sweet Day” by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. Those songs reigned for 16 weeks each.

Billie Eilish‘s “Bad Guy” is at number two for a ninth week and it’s one week away from tying the record for most weeks peaking at number two.
