Billie Eilish Dethrones Lil Nas X from Billboard Hot 100's Top Spot

Billie Eilish has earned her first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and she has dethroned Lil Nas X after his 19-week reign on the top of the chart!

The 17-year-old singer’s song “Bad Guy” is number one after spending the past nine weeks at number two.

Billie, who was born in December 2001, is the first artist to be born in the 2000s and earn a number one single on the Hot 100. Lil Nas X was the previous most-recent born artist to go number one as he was born in April 1999.

Lil Nas X‘s song “Old Town Road” is now at number three on the Hot 100 and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello‘s collaboration “Senorita” has moved up to number two.

Rounding at the top five this week are Lizzo‘s “Truth Hurts” at number four and Khalid‘s “Talk” at number five.
