Jordin Sparks Will Play Jenna in 'Waitress' on Broadway!

Jordin Sparks is taking on an exciting role on Broadway!

The 29-year-old American Idol alum was announced as the latest star to take on the role of Jenna in the hit Broadway show on Tuesday (August 20).

“A new Jenna is coming to the diner! We are SO excited for @jordinsparks to join the cast of Waitress on Broadway as Jenna from September 16th to October 27th!” the show announced on Instagram.

“I’m so exciteddddd!!” Jordin commented.

Jessie Mueller, Sara Bareilles, Katharine McPhee and Shoshana Bean are among the stars who have taken on the role since 2015. Sadly, the show is coming to an end soon after running for years. Find out when Waitress is leaving Broadway!
