Why wasn’t Demi Lovato at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards?

The 27-year-old “Echame la Culpa” singer took to her Instagram Stories on Monday (August 26) to explain.

“Okay I can’t tell you guys what I’m doing today (you’ll find out super soon tho) but its making me SO HAPPY, I’m having SO MUCH FUN and I can’t stop laughing,” she wrote. “Now go come up with your crazy ass theories as to what it might be!!!”

“Y’all… none of my news has to do with my dogs, pickles OR MUGS… COME ONNNNNN,” she later added after sharing some videos of her pups. “I skipped the VMA’s for a REASON.”

“Well that and I just hate award shows,” she finished.

We’ll have to wait and see what Demi Lovato has planned!

It was recently announced that she has joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix comedy movie Eurovision.
