'Billions' Star Melissa Errico Rescues Man Who Fell on Subway Tracks

Melissa Errico has saved a man who fell on the subway tracks and broke his foot as a speeding train was approaching.

The 49-year-old Billions actress was leaving her vocal coach’s studio when she heard calls for help inside the 14th Street F train station in New York City.

“I saw two men holding on to another man on the tracks who was reaching up to them,” Melissa told People. “He was a sweet man. He was really desperate and scared.”

“I could see the two men giving up,” Melissa Errico continued, noting that the man was too heavy for them to raise up. “They were letting him go.”

“I literally hopped into action,” Melissa said. “I came running over. I was like, ‘You can’t lift him? We got this.’ … I said, ‘One, two, three,’ really loud.” They pulled him to safety just in time.

He had “broken his foot and cut his arms,” she revealed. “I had blood all over me.” Police say the man was brought to a hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

“I’m a mom,” Melissa Errico shared. “Who better to save a life than a mom? I had the energy and jumped in to help this guy. I completed the chain. People do bigger things than that every day.”
