Kylie Rae Harris Dead - Country Singer Dies at 30

Kylie Rae Harris, a country singer from Texas, has passed away at the age of 30 in a car accident.

The 30-year-old was involved in a three-vehicle crash in northern New Mexico on Wednesday (September 4). A 16-year-old driver was also tragically killed in the crash, while a third driver was not harmed. Alcohol is suspected to be a cause of the crash, the AP reports.

“We are heartbroken to confirm that Kylie Rae Harris passed away in a car accident last night,” Kylie Rae’s publicist told Billboard. “We have no further details to share, and ask for privacy for her family at this time. Everyone that knew Kylie knew how much she loved her family and, beyond that, how much she loved music. The best tribute to her unmatched enthusiasm for both is to spread as much love as you can today, and listen to music that fully inspires you.”

Before her death, Kylie Rae posted on Twitter, writing, “Fuel range is 46 miles and I’m 36 from the nearest gas station. Dear baby Jesus please don’t let me get stranded in NM.”

Kylie Rae released her latest EP in March of this year. She released two other albums in addition.
