Taylor Swift Donates $10,000 to Fan Battling Cancer

Taylor Swift has donated $10,000 to help out a fan who has cancer.

The 29-year-old “You Need To Calm Down” singer wanted to assist the fan, 16-year-old Trinity Foster, with her medical bills.

Trinity was diagnosed with stage four osteosarcoma, which has spread to her lung, according to her GoFundMe page.

Trinity, I saw photos of your album release party that you did in your hospital room and wanted to say thank you for being so kind and supportive!” Taylor wrote along with her donation. “I hope I can give you a hug in person soon, but in the meantime I wanted to send you this and all my love. Your friend, Taylor.”

Trinity‘s struggles hit close to home for Taylor, who has has revealed that her song “Soon You’ll Get Better” from Lover is about her mom Andrea‘s battle with cancer.
