Adrienne Warren & Broadway's 'Tina' Cast Preview the Musical at Exclusive VIP Event

Adrienne Warren belts out a song during a VIP preview event for the upcoming Broadway show Tina – The Tina Turner Musical on Wednesday (September 11) at L’Avenue at Saks’ Le Chalet in New York City.

The Tony-nominated actress was joined at the event by co-star Daniel J. Watts, who is playing the role of Ike Turner, as well as director Phyllida Lloyd, playwright Katori Hall, and producer Tali Pelman.

Adrienne, who is taking on the title role in the musical, performed an acoustic version of Tina‘s song “Private Dancer” for guests at the event.

Rehearsals for the musical began last week and preview performances kick off on October 12.
