DWTS' Lauren Alaina Announces Split from Her Boyfriend

Lauren Alaina has announced that she has split from her boyfriend John Crist.

The 24-year-old country singer, who will make her debut on Dancing With the Stars tonight, was asked about her relationship with the comedian during an interview on The Bobby Bones Show.

Bobby asked how John felt about her “being on the [DWTS] now that you’ve been practicing for a couple of weeks.” Lauren responded by saying she does not “have a boyfriend anymore.”

Lauren added, “I mean, there’s, like, no big story. We were, like, best friends before we dated, and we’re still best friends. It just didn’t work out. I guess that’s how dating goes, right?”

She was also quick to say she is not in love with her dance partner. She said, “No, no — I have not. I have not fallen in love with my dance partner.”
