Lizzo Wants to Beat Iggy Azalea's Billboard Record, Iggy Reacts

Lizzo‘s song “Truth Hurts” has just achieved its fifth week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and now she’s hoping to beat Iggy Azalea‘s record for longest reign at number one for a female rapper.

Iggy‘s song “Fancy” was at number one for six weeks, so if Lizzo gets to seven weeks, she’ll be the new record-holder.

“YALL… IF WE KEEP THIS UP FOR 2 MORE WEEKS… TRUTH HURTS COULD BE THE LONGEST FEMALE RAP #1 OF ALL TIME….. RIGHT NOW ITS ‘FANCY’ 🤩😱🤯 CAN WE DO IT?!” Lizzo tweeted.

She then added, “*Fancy is a BOP and my homie @charli_xcx is genius on it (STREAM CHARLI- HER NEW ALBUM NOW).”

Iggy noticed the tweeted and tweeted, then deleted, “I could have SWORN I was the one rapping that song but okay…”

Then, Iggy decided to start promoting the song that is currently at number two, “Senorita” by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. She changed her profile picture on Twitter to a photo of the two singers and also tweeted a link to the song.

When Iggy was called out for her tweets, she clarified that she was just joking.
