Tom Cruise Meets with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky Amid Trump Impeachment Inquiry

Tom Cruise meets with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a private meeting on Monday (September 30) in Kiev, Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky has been in the headlines a lot lately after a phone call between him and President Donald Trump prompted a whistleblower to issue a complaint, which lead to an impeachment inquiry against Trump.

A transcript of the phone call between Zelensky and Trump has Trump asking the Ukrainian President to look into former VP Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who used to be on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company.

CNN reports that Zelensky told Tom Cruise, “You’re good looking … like in a movie.” Tom reportedly responded, “It pays the rent.”
