Rachel Zegler Posts New YouTube Video, Shares Message About Kindness Amid Twitter Break

Rachel Zegler, the star of the upcoming movie musical West Side Story, has shared a new cover song on her YouTube and she added a message to fans amid her break from Twitter.

The 19-year-old actress is taking time off from the social media app after she was attacked by Ansel Elgort fans who called her a “homewrecker” for saying that she loved her co-star.

Rachel did a cover of Lana Del Rey‘s song “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have – but i have it” and wrote the following message.

“just… be kind. there’s not much more i can say but just be nice to each other. be there for your friends. be a friend. be family. be kind. spread love. don’t assume, always approach the world with an open heart and open mind. my love for you all is undying. love each other. love you. xo,” Rachel said.
