Matt Lauer's Ex Wife Annette Roque Releases Statement After His Rape Allegation

Annette Roque, the ex wife of Matt Lauer, has released a statement after he was accused of rape by a former NBC News employee.

In a statement released by her lawyer, the 52-year-old model told People, “Our client has asked us to tell you that now that the parties are officially divorced, her priority and only concern is for their wonderful children. Our client will make no further statements.”

The couple had three kids together during their marriage: Jack, 18, Thijs, 12, and daughter Romy, 15. She filed for divorce over the summer.

Annette and Matt were married when the alleged rape took place. They wed in 1998.
